Plač, nárek po šťastí môj život denne bol, nič, nič som nevedel o kríži Golgotskom. Keď zašlo za obzor už mnoho smutných liet, Pán Ježiš našiel ma a smel som „áno“ riecť.
Translation: Crying, crying for happiness my life daily was, nothing, nothing I knew of the cross of Golgotha. When many sad years had went over the horizon, the Lord Jesus found me and I was bold to say “yes”.

Aj sveta veselosť už okúsil zrak môj, česť, priazeň, bohatstvo, to nový iba bôľ. Veď srdce znavené chce šťastie, pokoj, mier, hlad jeho utíšiť len Knieža mieru vie.
Translation: My eyes have tasted the joy of the world, honour, favour, riches, that is but a new sorrow. For my heart is weary wants happiness, calm, peace, to satisfy its hunger only the Prince of Peace can.

Vždy trvať v radosti len s Ježišom sa dá. Čo roky hľadal som, môj Priateľ hojne dá. Dnes volám nadšený, keď oko naspäť zrie, žiť s Kristom na zemi je blaho najväčšie.
Translation: It is only with Jesus that we can always abide in joy. What I've been searching for over the years, my Friend will abundantly give. Today I cry out in excitement, when the eye is seeing back, to live with Christ on earth is the greatest blessing.
