Netúžim po pokladoch po striebre a zlate, len po Spasiteľovi a Jeho odplate. O tom chcem ja len zvedieť ó blahá istota či mám meno zapísané do Knihy Života.
Translation: I do not desire treasures of silver and gold, only the Savior and His reward. That is all I want to know, o blessed assurance, if my name is written in the Book of Life.

Veď ako piesku v mori toľko som hriechov mal od všetkých ma očistil môj Spasiteľ a Kráľ. Srdce nad sneh zbielila krv Kristova svätá a meno mi zapísal do Knihy Života.
Translation: For like the sand in the sea I had so many sins my Savior and King cleansed me of them all. The blood of Christ made my heart whiter than snow and wrote my name in the Book of Life.

Bárs svet so mňa posmech má Pán ma v srdci nosí On vždy za mňa u Otca oroduje, prosí. V Ňom som Božím dieťaťom to vzácna istota. Kto mi uprie dedičstvo Večného Života?
Translation: Though the world mocks me, the Lord carries me in His heart. He always intercedes for me before the Father, He prays. In Him I am a child of God, that precious assurance. Who can deny me the inheritance of Eternal Life?
