Z krajiny, kde byt časný mám, do slávnej Otčiny sa uberám. Lístok je už zakúpený, Golgotou bol už raz draho platený.
Translation: From the land where I have an temporal dwelling I am going to the glorious Fatherland. The ticket is already bought, Golgotha was once costly paid.

Za hviezdnatým morom v diaľke žiari môj dom, v ktorom budem bývať s mojím Spasiteľom. Otvorené brány z perál už teraz zriem: hľa, zlaté mesto, Jeruzalem.
Translation: Beyond the starry sea in the distance shines my house, where I shall dwell with my Saviour. The open gates of pearls already I see: behold, the golden city, Jerusalem.

Prekvapením omámený zastanem v šťastnom kruhu spasených. Nádherný lesk ma oblaží, veniec keď podá mi Ježiš najdrahší.
Translation: Dazed with surprise, I shall stand in the happy circle of the saved. A splendid splendour shall dazzle me, a wreath when Jesus dearest shall hand me.

Nebeský kraj je samý jas, túžobne vierou vidím mesto krás. Neviem ten deň, iba to viem, na loďke života tam že pristanem.
Translation: The heavenly land is all brightness, I long by faith to see the city of beauty. I know not the day, only this I know, on the boat of life there that I shall land.
